Fatehgarh Sahib, May 28: Two persons were killed and six injured in a head-on collision between two cars on the Sirhind-Patiala highway near Gunia Majra village on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Meera Devi of Patiala and Balwinder Singh of Kapurthala.
Those injured were referred to the Civil Hospital in Fatehgarh Sahib and Patiala.Mullepur Station House Officer Pardeep Singh Bajwa said a family from Himachal Pradesh was on its way to Patiala in a Maruti car, while another was coming from Patiala in a Bolero. Doctors said the injured were out of danger.
