Ventilators made by Brampton company sent as help for Covid-stricken India

Date:

Ventilators manufactured by a Brampton company are being sent to India to help with that country’s COVID-19 crisis.

The ventilators produced by O-Two Medical Technologies Inc. are already part of a Government of Ontario supply of which Premier Doug Ford said 3,000 are on their way to India.

“Ontario will always stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our friends,” said Ford adding that each ventilator costs $8,000.

A spokesperson for the company said workers at the facility located on Armthorpe Rd. are pleased their device will be helping the people of India.

O-Two Medical Technologies is a manufacturer of medical devices, focused primarily on emergency respiratory care and oxygen delivery.
