Amritsar, January 17
Veteran Akali leader and former chief secretary of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) Manjit Singh Calcutta passed away here on Wednesday morning.
He was not keeping well for the past some time and had been hospitalised since January 4.
His cremation will take place here on Thursday noon.
