Vijay Inder Singla gave another chance to teachers for mutual transfers

Punjab Education Minister Mr. Vijay Inder Singla has given another chance to the school teachers to resolve their problems regarding mutual transfers and asked them to upload their data on e-Punjab portal by April 28.

According to a spokesperson of the school education department, 3582 newly recruited teachers have been given exemption for mutual transfer. According to the spokesperson both the candidates for inter-district adjustment should be of the same category while the two candidates for mutual adjustment in the district may be of different categories. At the same time it came to the notice of the department that some teachers, head teachers and centre head teachers could not apply for the transfer due to non-fulfillment of transfer conditions. Therefore, 3582 newly recruited teachers, Head Teachers and Centre Head Teachers recruited through direct recruitment have been given time till April 28 to upload their general information, service records, results etc. on the e-Punjab portal for mutual transfers.

According to the spokesperson, apart from the above categories, aspiring teachers who have fulfilled the transfer requirements under the Teacher Transfer Policy 2019 can also apply online till April 28. All these requests will be received for mutual transfers only.
