Vijay Kumar Janjua ACS conducts surprise checking of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development departments at Livestock Complex

Chandigarh, September 22: On the directives of Chief Minister Punjab Mr.Charanjit Singh Channi, Mr. Vijay Kumar Janjua, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development on Wednesday conducteda surprise checking in departments of Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Development situated at Livestock Complex, Sector 68, Mohali. Directors of allthree departments including Dr. H.S Kahlon, Director, Animal Husbandry Department accompanied Mr. Janjua during the surprise checking.

Giving details, an official spokesperson of Punjab Government said that during the checking few officers and employees of concerned offices were found absent/late from duty. Taking a serious note of this, Mr. Vijay Kumar Janjua issued verbal directions to all officers/officials to ensure punctuality in their offices in future and seek explanation from all absentees. Directions are also given to all officers /officials to be present in the office on time in future.

He also directed all three directors to conduct routine surprise checking at field level offices also through making a team of joint directors and deputy directors.

Further, he also directed all three departments to digitalize the office record and to send the official files through e-office in future.
