NEW DELHI: The Indian Air Force pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, will be released by Pakistan by 4 pm on Friday at the Wagah border in Punjab’s Amritsar district. A delegation of the Indian Air Force will receive him.
India has continued to mount pressure on Pakistan to act against Jaish-e-Mohammad. After presenting the dossier, intelligence agencies have not put together a comprehensive document listing evidence against.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan Thursday announced that the captive pilot will be released as a gesture of peace.
