Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Ministerial Candidate and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann visited the ‘Strong Room’ of Sangrur, where his assembly constituency Dhuri’s EVMs are also stored, and inquired administration about the security of machines and counting of votes. Speaking to AAP workers here, Mann claimed that their hard work would pay off on March 10 and the Aam Aadmi Party government would be formed in Punjab.
Bhagwant Mann today visited the Strong Room at Sangrur where the voting machines of Dhuri, Malerkotla, Sunam, Dirba, Sangrur, Amargarh and Lehragaga Assembly constituencies are kept. ITBP and BSF have been deployed to guard the strong room and counting desks are being set up by the district administration for counting of votes. Bhagwant Mann talked with the Aam Aadmi Party workers who were overseeing the Strong Room and got information about the security arrangements. Mann said that with the counting of votes on March 10, the mandate issued by the people would come out of the machines and a people’s government would be formed in the state.
