Bargari, October 15: The third anniversary of the Bargari incident on Sunday drew hundreds of teenagers. Stirred into action by their families and religious sentiments, these youngsters accompanied their parents or fellow villagers to reach the venue.
Jasmine Kaur, a Class XI student in Bargari, said: “We have been seeking justice in the sacrilege incidents and punishment to those responsible for killing two innocent protesters for three years now. But nothing has been done. It hurts me deeply.”
“Since June 16, I have been participating in the dharna every day in the evening. I have also been serving langar to those sitting on the dharna for the last over four months,” she said.
