Fazilka, July 12: Nishan Singh (24) died allegedly after taking intoxicating pills at Dhab Gharial village in Fazilka district on Wednesday.
Jeet Singh, father of the deceased, said his son had gone to drop his sister at the village bus stand. On way back, Nishan allegedly took some intoxicating pills on a riverbank. He was taken to a hospital in Fazilka from where he was referred to Muktsar. But he died on way to Muktsar. It is stated that a family dispute prompted him to consume pills. His post-mortem examination was conducted at the local civil hospital.
