Zee Punjabi’s Former Guest, Dr. R.L. Mittal Honored with ‘Padma Shri’ Award

13th November 2021 The former guest of Zee Punjabi show Jazba, Dr. Ratan Lal Mittal, Emeritus Professor from Orthopedic Department, Government Medical college, Patiala has been honored with the most Prestigious Padma Shri Award, the fourth highest civilian awards of the Republic of India.

Dr. Mittal is the avid researcher who has worked for the CLUBFOOT extreme deformities. Dr Mittal and his team have found the treatment for any kind of deformity related to Clubfoot. According to professor Dr. Mittal, the deformity is found in undeveloped countries due to lack of hygiene in such countries. This initiative has helped numerous people, especially the ones who cannot afford it as no charges are being charged for this surgery. It continues to help such people without any failure.

Dr. Ratan Lal Mittal, has also introduced new concepts in pathoanatomy and surgical techniques without any cost, is still continuing and has accumulated several National and International awards. By adding the Padma Shri Award in his treasure he adds his name in the list of the great personalities of professors and scientists who have contributed in making India proud.
