160661.36 MT Paddy Procured on 7th day: Ashu

The Government procurement agencies have procured 160661.36 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on seventh day of procurement of this Kharif Season.

Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 674253.05 MT and 12915 MT paddy procured by private Millers.

He said that 172512.97 MT paddy has been arrived in mandis of state today and so far a total of 753082.50 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state out of which 687168.05 metric tonnes of paddy has been Precoured.

Mr. Ashu said department has cleared 612.34 Cr. Rupee of farmers.
