Chandigarh, 15 October:
The Government procurement agencies have procured 391130.691 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on thirteenth day of procurement of this Kharif Season.
Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 2428898.691 MT and 25090 MT paddy procured by private Millers.
He said that 389055.868 MT paddy has been arrived in mandis of state today and so far a total of 2558389.868 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state out of which 2453988.691 metric tonnes of paddy has been Precoured.
