Chandigarh, 21 October:
The Government procurement agencies have procured 595347.327 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on 21October,2021 in this Kharif Season.
Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 5187108.676 MT and 36077 MT paddy procured by private Millers.
He said that a total of 5423102.048 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state so far and out of which 5223185.676 metric tonnes of paddy has been Procured.
Mr. Ashu said department has cleared 7017.1 Cr. Rupee of farmers.
