Chandigarh, 26 October:
The Government procurement agencies have procured 73299.0045 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on 26 October,2021 in this Season.
Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 8029056.3885 MT and 43446 MT paddy procured by private Millers.
He said that a total of 8309780.634 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state so far and out of which 8072502.3885 metric tonnes of paddy has been Procured.
Mr. Ashu said department has cleared 11993.99 Cr. Rupee of farmers.
