Chandigarh, 1 November:
The Government procurement agencies have procured 742994.95 metric tonnes of paddy in Punjab on 1 November,2021 in this Season.
Disclosing this here today, Food and Civil Supplies Minister Punjab Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said the Government procurement agencies procured total 12252670.023 MT and 51157 MT paddy procured by private Millers.
He said that a total of 12542538.07 metric tonnes of paddy has arrived in the state so far and out of which 123038278.023 metric tonnes of paddy has been Procured.
Mr. Ashu said department has cleared 195644.43 Cr. Rupee of farmers
