Chandigarh, May 12: Satish Chandra has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Medical Education and Research, as previous incumbent Anjali Bhawra proceeded on a Central government deputation. He is among the eight IAS officers of the state who were transferred on Saturday.
MP Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Taxation, has got the additional charge of the Forests and Wildlife Department. Sanjay Kumar, who had the charge of Medical Education and Research, has been relieved and posted as Principal Secretary, Labour and Youth Services and Sports.
DK Tiwari is the new Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training, relieving MP Singh of the charge. Tiwari also has the charge of Secretary, Employment Generation and Training, and Mission Director, Skill Development. Hussan Lal gets the charge of MD, Punjab Infrastructure Development Board, and KS Pannu gets the charge of Secretary, Agriculture, in addition to their present charges.
Vikas Garg has been transferred as Secretary, Agriculture, and Arunjit Singh Miglani gets the additional charge of Mission Director in the Directorate of Ground Water Management.
