AAP leaders to hold roadshow today

Date:

Moga: Just two days before the end of election campaign in Shahkot, president of the state unit of AAP Bhagwant Mann will hold a roadshow in the constituency in favour of party candidate Rattan Singh Kakkar Kalan.

The roadshow is being planned as a move to dismiss the rumours of Mann staying away from the crucial election campaign for the party. Mann said he was in the US for the past few weeks and had arrived in Punjab on Wednesday.

Incidentally, Mann had tendered his resignation as the state chief back in March which was not accepted by the central party leadership. Since then, he was not active in Punjab politics. Leader of the Opposition Sukhpal Khaira and all other party MLAs of Punjab are likely to participate in the roadshow, said spokesperson Navdip Singh Sangha.
