Ashu pats back of food, civil supplies staff for dedication in crisis situation

Chandigarh, April 6: Applauding the dedication of staff of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs department, Cabinet Minister Mr. Bharat Bhushan Ashu said that supply chain of essentials constantly maintained in state and other parts of the country due to their hard work in lockdown.

Punjab Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister, Mr. Ashu said that today when everyone is frightened in view of spreading of Covid 19, the employees and officers of the department labouring hard to restore the supply chain of essential commodities with the support of state government and district administration.

The Cabinet Minister exhorted that due to the endeavour of officers and employees of the department, made it remarkably possible to send food grains to other states through special trains and trucks so that shortage of food grains never arising from every nook and corner of the country. He also ensured that the staff adhering to the guidelines issued about maintaining social distancing during the work.

Mr. Ashu hoped that the officers and staff of the department would continue this dedication towards work in future and the image of the department would be further strengthened with the efforts of the state.
