CHANDIGARH, September 13: Under the voter awareness programme being initiated in the state under the directives of the Election Commission of India (ECI), the office of the Chief Electoral Officer on Friday informed the representatives of various political parties about the features of the aforesaid programme.
The programme held under the guidance of Additional Chief Electoral Officer Gurpal Singh saw participation from various political parties.
Giving information about the programme, Chahal said that every voter can verify his vote or his family’s vote by five ways including National Voter Service Portal, Mobile App, Common Service Centre in every district, Elector Registration Officer and BLO.
On the occasion, the detailed process about the registering on National Voter Service Portal was explained.
Others present during the programme included Joint CEO Captain Karnail Singh, Deputy CEO Sukhdev Singh Bhangu and System Manager Pushpinder Singh.
