Chandigarh, June 22: Three years after the Bargari sacrilege incidents, the handwriting of one of the 10 arrested suspects is said to have matched with the writing on derogatory posters that were pasted in Bargari village against the Sikh holy book in September 2015.

Police sources said since the incident more than 100 handwriting samples were collected from Bargari village, besides other suspects, but none could match with the posters. The breakthrough was achieved last week after forensic analysis of the handwriting of 10 suspects in the Bargari sacrilege was checked.

The police have handed over the finding to the CBI, the nodal agency investigating the sacrilege cases.

The suspect had used a black sketch pen to write the posters.
