The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly welcomed the decision of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to implement the ‘Door Step Delivery of Ration’ scheme. Senior AAP leader and spokesperson Malwinder Singh Kang said that this decision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is historic. This decision of the Aam Aadmi Party government will benefit the people of Punjab, common people and the needy. He said that the expectations with which the people of Punjab have elected their government, the AAP government will fulfill all those expectations.

In a video message released from the party headquarters on Tuesday, Malwinder Singh Kang said that the decision of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led Punjab government to provide ration to the door steps of the people is highly commendable. The government’s decision has proved that the AAP government is a government of the common people. Kang said that now daily wagers, laborers, poor and old people will not have to stand in long queues for ration. Good quality ration will be delivered to their homes.

Condemning the previous governments in strong words, Kang said that during Congress and Akali Dal-BJP governments, the cheap rations given to the poor were reaching the homes of the rich and the powerful. He said that under the ‘Door Step Ration Delivery’ scheme started by the Punjab Government to deliver ration to the doorsteps, poor families would get better quality ration and the ration mafia in the state would end.

Kang said that the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has set a splendid and public friendly example by implementing the door-to-door ration scheme. The AAP government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will continue to work honestly for the people and will continue to implement people-friendly schemes.
