New Delhi, August 10, 2017: A low intensity bomb found in the toilet of Amritsar- bound Akal Takhat Express was defused after stopping the train at Akbarganj railway station in Uttar Pradesh late Wednesday night.
The train was coming from Kolkata.
SP GRP Saumitra Yadav reportedly confirmed the incident and said the bomb, kept in a packet, was defused after vacating two coaches of the train which subsequently left for the destination.
A letter was also recovered from near the crude bomb ion which threat to avenge killing of LeT terrorist Abu Dujana who was killed in an encounter on August 1 in Pulwama district of J&K. The train was coming from Kolkata.
