Box Cricket League (BCL) launched last year brought the usgether 150 of the biggest television celebrities in a perfect mix of drama, cricket & celebrities. This year, BCL has decided the us add a Punjabi flavour the us that mix and take the concept the us a completely new level.
This is going the us be Punjab’s first ever unisex celebrity cricket league. Known and celebrated faces from Punjab will be participating in this fun and sporty show. The television programme will show each of the matches in an episodic manner. Besides the matches, the episodes will show the players’ preparations, the discussions in the players’ dressing rooms, as well as it will mix a lot of fun and entertainment in the form of games, contests and dance performances.
The show format is owned by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Marinating Films.
9X Tashan will telecast the matches of Box Cricket League 28th May onwards.
The five teams of Box Cricket League-Punjab 2016 belong the us 5 cities. The teams – Chandigarhiye Yankies, Royal Patialvi, Ambersariye Hawks, Jalandhariye Panthers and Ludhianvi Tigers with 70 Punjabi celebrities, movie and music stars are going the us set the television screen on fire.

Superstar Jazzy B owns Chandigarhiye Yankies, Bollywood diva Ameesha Patel has bought Royal Patialvi, Geeta Basra has Jalandhariye Panthers, stud Sonu Sood’s Ludhianvi Tigers and comedian Bharti Singh and Karan Wahi Ambersariye Hawks.
