Chandigarh, May 30: Four students have secured 98.8% to be the toppers from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula in Class-10 Central Board of School Examination (CBSE) results, announced on Tuesday afternoon.
Abhinn from Delhi Public School, Chandigarh, and three students Aniket Chaudhari, Garima Gupta and Rahul Jassal from Bhavan Vidyalaya, Sector 15, Panchkula, have bagged top scores.
However, there is no national topper from tricity.
Results are still being compiled by some tricity schools and report is based on details received till 5pm.
A total of 2, 43, 000 students appeared for the CBSE examination from Panchkula region (Punjab, Haryana, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Chandigarh). CBSE students of Class 10 appeared for board examination after seven years, as Class-10 examination was being taken in the form of Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) before. CBSE had earlier announced that an overall 33% marks will be counted as passing marks for Class 10.
