Congress shielding Akalis claims AAP MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira

Date:

Ludhiana, August 16: After paying tributes to martyr Karnail Singh Issru, AAP MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira held a meeting with volunteers, which was also attended by locals at Issru village on Wednesday. AAP MP Bhagwant Mann, too, paid tributes to the martyr, but stayed away from the meeting.

The photos of AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal were displayed on the posters of both Khaira and Mann.

Addressing the gathering, Khaira said it was not a political conference, but just a meeting of volunteers. He alleged that the Congress government was trying to save Badals in sacrilege cases. “Whoever is responsible for firing on peaceful protesters at Behbal Kalan should be punished,” he said.
