Political Standing
Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has been reelected in 2017 as the Member of Punjab Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Dera Baba Nanak. Randhawa first successfully contested the Punjab Legislative Assembly from Fatehpur in 2002. In 2012, he was elected from new constituency Dera Baba Nanak. He won by a margin of 2940 votes. Sucha Singh Langah of SAD was the trailing candidate.
