Education Minister hands over appointment letters to 23 beneficiaries on compassionate grounds

The Punjab Education Minister, Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer on Thursday handed over appointment letters to 23 beneficiaries on compassionate grounds in the education department. They have been appointed on various posts including 7 clerks, 4 SLA, 9 peons and 3 chowkidar by the government.

Handing over the appointment letter on compassionate grounds to beneficiaries at Punjab Bhawan today, Education Minister said that Punjab government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is taking various initiatives to reform the education department.

The Minister further said that the loss of the departed family members is irreparable, however, state government is attempting to ease their financial woes by offering jobs to kin within a short span of time.

Motivating the newly appointed employees, Minister asked them to work sincerely and honestly for upliftment of the department.

He also wished the newly appointed employees all the very best for a bright future and a healthy life.

On this occasion, the beneficiaries who got the job on compassionate grounds and the guardians accompanying them thanked the Education Minister and the government for completing all the process immaculately to give them jobs very soon.

Director General School Education Punjab Pradeep Kumar Agarwal, DPI (Secondary Education) Kuljit Singh Mahi, SCERT Director Maninder Singh Sarkaria and Deputy State Project Director Gurjit Singh were also present.
