PWD minister hands over job letters to 22 SDES

Punjab PWD Minister S. Harbhajan Singh ETO, on Thursday, handed over appointment letters to 22 SDEs appointed to Public Works Department here at Punjab Bhawan.

The Cabinet Minister said that the Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Mann led Punjab government was committed to provide employment to maximum number of youth in the state. He expressed hope that these candidates are familiar with new technologies which would prove a boon for the department and the state. He said that these new SDEs would further accelerate the pace of execution of undergoing work / projects of the Public Works department. He implored the newly appointed SDEs to serve the government honestly and diligently. Sharing a memory with the newly appointmented SDEs, the Cabinet Minister said that he had joined the state government as a ETO in 2012 and also received the appointment letter here at Punjab Bhawan.

The Cabinet Minister said that the newly appointed SDEs would get the stations as per the requirement of the government. He said that a two-month training will also be imparted to these SDEs so that they would not face any difficulty in the field.

Congratulating the SDEs, Principal Secretary PWD Mr. Anurag Verma said that their appointment would enhance the efficiency of the department.

On this occasion Joint Secretary Public Works Department Mr. Charandeep Singh, Chief Engineer Mr. Arun Kumar and other senior officers of the department were also present.
