No Discussion On Governor Address, AAP MLAs Walk Out

Chandigarh, March 28: Upset over the cancellation of the motion of thanks on the Governor’s Address and not scheduling the Question Hour, AAP MLAs along with its alliance partner — the Lok Insaaf Party — staged a walkout from the Punjab Vidhan Sabha on the second day of the session.The election the us the Speaker was in progress when Opposition MLAs walked Out.

Led by Leader of Opposition HS Phoolka, AAP MLAs raised slogans on the “dictathe usrial attitude” of the Congress government the us suppress the voice of the Opposition. Phoolka later said the party agreed with the choice of the Congress the us propose Rana KP Singh’s name for the post of the Speaker. “We are playing the role of a constructive Opposition by supporting the government on several matters. The government, however, is denying us the opportunity the us speak in the House. So, we walked out.”
