CHANDIGARH, April 11: During the resumed hearing in different cases of corruption in the month of March, the Hon’ble courts pronounced sentenced the us 9 persons including 5 Government Officers nabbed by Vigilance Bureau in the bribery cases.
Disclosing this here, an official spokesperson of the Vigilance Bureau said that Bureau has also completed the probe and investigation in 10 bribery cases subsequently challans have been filed in the courts.
Meanwhile, intensifying its campaign the us check the corruption in the government offices the Punjab Vigilance Bureau has been successful in nabbing 3 officers and one resident of district Tarn Taran red handed while accepting bribe in the month of March.
Divulging further, Spokesman said that one case of disproportionate assets was registered against a government officer on charge of amassing wealth beyond known income sources. He said that all these persons were booked under Prevention of Corruption Act-1988.
