Khaira: Govt suppressing implication of Bharat Ashu in Ludhiana MC

Jalandhar, March 13: Punjabi Ekta Party leader Sukhpal Khaira on Wednesday alleged that the state government was suppressing the inquiry report implicating cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu in a multi-crore land scam in the Ludhiana MC.

Khaira said the state government is sitting on a report by Ludhiana DSP Balwinder Singh into the issue. The DSP had also made a formal complaint to the DGP on Ashu threatening him but it wasn’t acted upon, he claimed.
