During the celebrations of the 400th birth anniversary of ‘Hind Ki Chadar’ Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, a huge Nagar Kirtan was organised in the national capital New Delhi on Friday in which the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab affairs incharge and MLA from Delhi Jarnail Singh and Punjabi Academy chairman Harsharan Singh Bali joined as devotees. On the occasion, Jarnail Singh said that it is our good fortune to celebrate the 400th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur ji, who made great sacrifices for the freedom of humanity and communal harmony. He said that the path shown by Guru Tegh Bahadur was shining brightly in the 21st century as well, which was a shout out for the freedom of human rights of the people of other religions. Jarnail Singh said that the sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur has a special place in the history of India, which inspires the Sikh community to sacrifice for the human rights of people of other faiths. He appealed to the people of the country to follow the path shown by the Gurus and come forward for world peace.
