Instructions to school heads to prepare students for the ‘National Youth Parliament Program’

The Punjab school education department has prepared a syllabus for the preparation of students for the ‘National Youth Parliament Program’ and directed the school heads to train the students on the basis of this syllabus.

Disclosing this here today a spokesperson of the school education department said that the ‘National Youth Parliament Program’ is being conducted with the objective of inculcating sense of democratic values in the students. The department of school education has created a syllabus to prepare students for this program. According to the spokesperson, students from 9th to 12th class will participate in this program. The syllabus has been finalized for the students of Class IX and X on the based of Civics while the syllabus has been finalized in the subject of Political Science for the students of Class XI and XII.

According to the spokesperson, the school heads have been directed to conduct preparatory activities on the basis of the syllabus sent to them. According to the spokesperson, this would not only provide academic knowledge to the students but also enable them to prepare in advance for the ‘National Youth Parliament Program’.
