Chandigarh, March 5: The search and rescue operations for four army personnel trapped under the avalanche in Kinnaur district are continuing unabated. More than 500 personnel of Army, DRDO, BRO, and ITBP are relentlessly involved in the search operation.
Today body of Rifleman Govind Bahadur Chhetri of Binaguri, district Jalpaiguri was recovered from avalanche site. The mortal remains of the brave soldier are being transported to his hometown.
Search and Rescue operations for the remaining three missing soldiers are continuing, said PRO Defence, Chandigarh.
