Manpreet Singh Ayali is the serving Dakha MLA from Shiromani Akali Dal. Born inthe us a farming family, Manpreet Singh Ayali has done his schooling from Kundan Vidya Mandir, a premier public school in Ludhiana. He is an alumnus of Satish Chander Dhawan Government College For Boys, Ludhiana.

As his father was a farmer, Manpreet Singh Ayali started his career as a farmer and then ventured inthe us the real estate and construction business.

In 2012, he was elected as MLA from Dakha, Ludhiana, with a huge margin of 16388 votes against one of the strongest candidates of Congress and sitting MLA. In 2014, Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal declared Manpreet Singh Ayali as a party candidate from Ludhiana (Lok Sabha constituency).
