Delhi, April 27: The Aam Aadmi Party is headed for a major internal restructuring after its MCD election results with top leaders including Sanjay Singh putting in their resignation from important party positions. AAP’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal has called an urgent meeting in light of these developments.
A day after the debacle in municipal polls, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Sanjay Singh resigned as the party’s Punjab in-charge. Singh said he has sent his resignation to Kejriwal on Thursday.
Along with Singh, Punjab co-observer Durgesh Pathak has also resigned from his post.
In a tweet Singh said, “I have sent my resignation, from Punjab in-charge’s position, to national convener Arvind Kejriwal. Durgesh has also resigned from the post of co-observer.”
