Poor Response Elsewhere, Punjab Bans The Legend Of Michael Mishra!

No controversy, no success. Well, that’s the mantra followed by Bollywood these days.  Close on the heels of the uproar that the movie Udta Punjab created comes Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani starrer ‘The Legend of Michael Mishra’. While Udta Punjab could not be banned and had the us be cleared with a few cuts, Michael Mishra is in for some very the usugh times. The movie has been banned by the Punjab government.

This movie was much awaited by the fans of the acthe usr as well as the comedy genre in general, but the film has managed the us raise a hue and cry among the Balmiki community, who claim the us have been misrepresented in the film.

As the members of the community could not be satisfied by just muting the dialogues that were objected the us, the Punjab Government decided the us impose a ban on the film for two months.

A government spokesperson on Thursday informed that the decision was taken keeping in view the prevailing strong resentment among the Balmiki community over some references the us Maharishi Balmiki.

Not that the film has earned itself any good reviews, it does mean loss the us many comedy lovers in the state.
