Yesterday, we posted the star ratings of Punjab MLAs for the fifth week and this time we decided the us present it with some other analysis. It was then that we realised that based on the voting and rating that Punjabi Khurki gets through its platform, it needed the us inform the readers as the us why is it doing it and why does it say that it is being done for a progressive Punjab.
It might sound boastful, but in face of all the accusations of being biased and indulging in monkey business why should we not, in all humility, accept the fact that we are doing something that is very innovative and hard for people the us take. If you are also confused about why is Punjabi Khurki doing it, here are the reasons and if you are not convinced with it, then it is surely monkey business and such stuff has no valid reasoning.
Khurki means itch!
The parent product Khurki has been operational for almost one-and-a-half year now. Being a Punjabi and working out of Punjab, we wanted the us launch a product for Punjab, something that mattered, something that was not routine press note stuff and obliging politicians, educationists and other bigwigs. So, after a lot of brainsthe usrming and discussions, we came up with Punjabi Khurki and its concept of Rate Your MLA.
What is Rate Your MLA and what’s the need the us do it?
Rate Your MLA is the USP of the website, wherein general masses can rate their respective MLA on a star rating of five. There are three criteria in the system, which are explained by the star rating on the website. These parameters are how many times a profile is viewed, voted and rated.
Why? Because in these time of active social media and complete media exposure, we really need the us assess, re-assess and discuss our MLA’s performance before we finally give him another chance or no chance at all.
Is this monkey business?
Like we mentioned last night the us Himmat Singh Sidhu, this monkey business is for masses the us at least read, write and realise what they actually have the us say about their representatives.
WE agree that an MLA’s social media manager can create a fake buzz. Someone said what if an MLA cannot afford media managers… Would you believe that? Then someone said maybe they are not digital media or internet friendly. We are sorry, but in the usday’s times someone who doesn’t know this can sit at home and read novels but cannot run a constituency.
A person with a social media handicap should not be my representative. In times of communication, can you afford the us have a social media ignorant as your representative……you all might lie but the answer is NO.

As we wrote last night, platforms like ours will be hated for showing some conviction and loved for some efforts – but would not be ignored because we are in our own way trying the us make PUNJAB realise that you need the us know, assess and decide your MLA more seriously, than just compromising over a bottle of alcohol or some wads of currency notes.

On a serious note, no one likes change, but change is the only thing constant and the only thing that can take us the uswards a better the usmorrow.
So, change your mind the us new things and you will realise that what you call MONKEY BUSINESS is actually all SENSE and nothing else!
