Plying of traffic has resumed on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.

Jammu, March 7: One-way traffic is being allowed to move on the Jammu-Srinagar highway on Thursday, an official said.

Plying of traffic has resumed on the Jammu-Srinagar highway.

“The highway is open for one-way traffic. Vehicles are being allowed to move from Srinagar to Jammu today,” the traffic department official said.

All stranded vehicles on the highway were cleared on Wednesday.

The 300 km-long highway passes through some of the most treacherous road stretches, especially the Ramban-Ramsoo sector that has become infamous for frequent landslides.
