Amritsar, January 3, 2018: Panthic leaders have appealed Jathedar, Akal Takht Giani Gurbachan Singh for initiating strict action against AAP MP Sadhu Singh and leader of Opposition and MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira.
SGPC members Advocate Bhagwant Singh Sialka, Harjap Singh Sultanwind, Mangwinder Singh Khapre Kheeri, Bhai Ajaib Singh abhiyasi and Prof Sarachand Singh said in the memorandum that in the Sikh literature, history and tradition, only Guru Gobind Singh is called “MARD AGAMARA’ , who sacrificed his entire family.
They accused the AAP MP of calling Sukhpal Singh Khaira MARD AGAMARA thus committed disrespect to the Guru which has hurt the Sikh sentiments.
They appealed the Jathedar to summon both leaders at Akal Takht for punishmkent in accordance with the Sikh traditions.
Giani Gurbachan Singh assured the panthic leaders that appropriate action would be taken.
