Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Chief Ministerial candidate and Member of Parliament Bhagwant Mann, while campaigning in his constituency Dhuri, appealed to the people, to vote for ‘Jharoo’ to fulfil their duty, and for the next five years he (Mann) will continue to fulfil his duty. He added that Punjab will be made happy and prosperous again.” He said that Feb 20th is an opportunity to write our own destiny. Therefore, the people of Dhuri will cast their vote to ‘broom’ for the better and bright future of Punjab.
Addressing an election rally in Dhuri on Friday, Bhagwant Mann warned the people that corrupt parties would start distributing liquor and money from today. Mann said, “People of Punjab have been voting for generations and kings took the votes of the people and closed the doors of their palaces for the common people, but now on the Feb 20th the common people will vote them out of Power.” He said that when the leaders of traditional parties did nothing for the people of the country, then Arvind Kejriwal, Sunita Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and he (Mann) quit their jobs and joined politics.
Bhagwant Mann said that during the election campaign the people of Punjab have given their full support and an overwhelming response. So, with the formation of AAP government, we have to eradicate unemployment, drug addiction, corruption and mafia rule from Punjab. The power will be used for the people and the decisions of the people will be made by the people. Mann alleged that Akali Dal Badal destroyed Punjab’s buses and Capt. Amarinder Singh finished business of truck owners and drivers in Punjab. These leaders swindled the wealth of the Punjab and built their own palaces. He said that the treasury of Punjab would be replenished and with this the facilities would be provided to the people.
Mann claimed that the youth of Punjab should be made job providers and not job seekers. Quota will be kept in the distribution of petrol pumps for the unemployed youth of the state. Facilities and financial assistance will be provided to create employment. The brain drain of Punjab has to be stopped and given opportunities of succeeding here. He appealed to the people to be vigilant and said that vote buyers could never do any good to the people. This time all the people will vote for AAP to save Punjab and make Punjab prosperous and happy again.
