PGRKAM extends date for applying for 6th state level mega job fair

Chandigarh, September 14: The Punjab Government under the Ghar Ghar Rozgar and Karobar Mission is organising 6th State Level Mega Job Fair across the state from 24th to 30th, September, 2020. The official spokesperson the department in press communiqué said today that during last few days there was a technical snag in the online web portal therefore the jobseekers faced some difficulty in applying for the jobs. Now the technical problem has been solved and the web portal www.pgrkam.com is fully functional and keeping in view the keen interest of the candidates the date for applying for the 6th State Level Mega Job Fair has been extended.

The spokesperson said that now the jobseekers can now apply for the jobs till 17th September, 2020 online on the web portal. He further said that if anyone finds any difficulty in applying online they can contact their District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE). They district bureau would provide every possible assistance to the candidates for applying for the job fair. The district bureau offices can easily be reached through the helpline numbers.

He also mentioned that the candidates who are otherwise registered on the portal but have not specifically applied for vacancies available in this Mega Rozgar Mela also need to choose available vacancies on the web portal or communicate their choice of vacancies to the district bureau office.

The spokesperson said that that all arrangements are being made by the district administrations for the smooth conduct of physical part of the Job Fairs keeping in mind the health protocol due to COVID-19. He said that disinfectants would be sprayed at the venue apart from this hand sanitizisation and thermal scanning etc. would be done at the venue. Therefore the job aspirants should utilise this employment opportunity to make their future bright.
