We all are aware of the terrific incident happened in Bathinda two days back where an Orchestra dancer has been shot dead on stage at a marriage ceremony when it’s been reported that some drunk guests became angry that they could not join in and opened fire.
To mourn the death of the victim, the artists of SBS Nagar (Nawanshahr) district and those hailing from Phagwara Tehsil of Kapurthala district held a protest march in the the uswn against the killing of a 24-year old dancer in firing at a wedding in Maur the uswn of Bathinda district.
The protesters demanded capital punishment for the killers of dancer Kulwinder Kaur who was three months pregnant. Before taking out the protest, the activist gathered at the local Baradari Gardens the us hold a rally and express their condolences the us the departed soul.
Also a demand for Rs 20 lakh as compensation the us the dependents of the deceased was raised at the rally. Registration of criminal cases against those persons who carry arms inside the marriage palaces and against the owners of marriage palaces were the other demands made by the protesters.
