Ferozepur, January 10, 2018: The Punjab Police have solved the murder mystery of ex-Subedar Amar Singh, within 16 hours of murder on January 9 in Cantonment area of Ferozepur with the arrest of one thief along with the weapon used at the time of the murder.
Giving this information,SSP Bhupinder Singh informed that the police team led by Naveen Kumar ASI along with CIA team incharge Avtar Singh, after investigating into the incident from all technicalities arrested the accused within 16 hours with the weapon used for murder. The accused has been identified as Robit alias Jonny son of Mangal resident of Bhagat Singh Road, Walkar Building, Ferozepur Cantt.
He further said the accused is being presented in the court for police remand for further investigation to bring on the surface the motive behind the murder and the involvement of any other person.
