Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has condoled sad demise of Sant Baba Dilawar Singh (56), the head of Dera Sant Baba Bhag Singh, who passed away after a brief illness at village Manko Jabbar in Jalandhar district on Thursday evening.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described Sant Baba Dilawar Singh ji as a great spiritual leader, social reformer and philanthropist, who played a frontal role for the welfare of disadvantaged sections of the society. Being the Chancellor of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University, he made an enormous contribution towards the spread of quality higher education in the rural areas of Doaba region. The selfless services of Sant Baba Dilawar Singh who relentlessly professed and practiced the ideals of compassion, love and amity till his last breath would be ever remembered by one and all.
Sharing his heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved family and devotees, the Chief Minister prayed to the Almighty to give strength to them to bear this irreparable loss in this hour of grief and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
