Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab leader HS Hanspal claimed that Aam Aadmi Party is the only party that can make Punjab progressive and prosperous. Therefore, the people of Punjab should vote for the Aam Aadmi Party and form the government. He said that Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has done commendable work for the betterment of Delhi’s people. Similarly, people of Punjab will get better facilities on the lines of Delhi, if the AAP government is formed in Punjab.
Addressing the conference held at Punjab Press Club here on Thursday, AAP leader Hanspal said that the Congress party is no longer the same, so he left the Congress and Joined Aam Aadmi Party. Attacking Congress, he said that for the last five years after the Congress came to power, it kept saying that the treasury of Punjab is empty. If the government’s treasury is empty, where is taxpayers’ money gone? Congress leaders should answer this.
AAP leader said that Punjab is going through a serious crisis. Due to lack of better education and employment, youth of Punjab is forced to go abroad. Similarly, the condition of farmers is getting worse day-by-day. Farmers, drowned in debt are committing suicide. He said that the AAP government would solve the problems of both the youth and the farmers of Punjab. Our government will give better employment opportunities to the youth and will benefit the farmers in farming.
Lauding the Kejriwal government of Delhi, Hanspal said that with the utilization of Delhi people’s hard-earned money, Kejriwal has given world-class education, medical services and other facilities to the general public. He said that Kejriwal has transformed the pitiable condition of schools and introduced Mohalla clinics, including free clean drinking water and electricity.
He said that the AAp’s Chief Ministerial Candidate Bhagwant Mann is an honest leader. He always talks about the progress of Punjab. Hanspal said that he has joined the Aam Aadmi Party for the prosperity and progress of Punjab. Today, Punjab needs an honest leader and government in Punjab.
