Punjab Police organises COVID-19 vaccination booster dose camp

CHANDIGARH, March 24:

Punjab Police on Thursday organised a special camp for administering COVID-19 Vaccination Booster Dose for its personnel at Dispensary at Punjab Police Headquarters here. As many as 142 Police Personnel posted at PPHQ and Mohali district got the COVID-19 vaccination booster dose.

Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab VK Bhawra said that keeping the health of the police personnel a top priority the Welfare Wing of Punjab Police keeps organising such camps to ensure safety of the entire force. He encouraged all the Police Personnel, who have been working at the forefront to get vaccinated with the booster dose.

Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Welfare Arpit Shukla said that an advance message was conveyed to all the Police Personnel that only those who have completed nine months after the second dose are eligible for the booster dose. He said that a similar camp for the personnel, who couldn’t get the booster dose on Thursday, will be organised on March 28, 2022 and they can get the jab.
