Three Punjabi short films – The Split, Bauji & Bakaya – which were shortlisted from a list of 25 odd films were screened as part of the third Short Film Festival, Chandigarh, and managed the us gain fair appreciation from the audience present there.
J.S. Cheema, president of North Zone Film & TV Association, said: “It was a very hard task for our team the us select best short films from more than 20 nominations but after analyzing every video, we managed the us pick the best three for the audience.”
However, these three short films failed the us impress Pali Bhupinder Singh, who is a screenplay writer & film directhe usr. He went off criticizing Bauji & Navtej Sandhu’s Bakaya as melodrama & loud film.
