Rahul Bhandari assumes charge as Principal Secretary information, public relations

CHANDIGARH, September 27:

A 1997- batch IAS officer, Rahul Bhandari, who is presently posted as Principal Secretary Technical Education and Industrial Training on Tuesday assumed in addition charges of Principal Secretary Information and Public Relations and Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs.

After assuming charges of both the departments, Principal Secretary Rahul Bhandari held separate meetings with Director Information and Public Relations Sonali Giri and Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Ghanshyam Thorhi to discuss various issues pertaining to their respective departments.

The Principal Secretary said that he would accord top priority to further bringing efficiency and transparency in the functioning of the departments to achieve the goals and aspirations of the Punjab Government.
