Chandigarh, December 15:
Under the dynamic guidance of Chief Minister S. Charanjit Singh Channi and Cabinet Minister Dr. Raj Kumar Verka, Mr. Rajan Mehra on Wednesday joined the office of Punjab Energy Development Agency as a Director Board of Governance (BOG), which is under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy Sources.
Mr Mehra assumed the responsibility of Director BOG in the presence of Mr. H.S. Hanspal, Chairman PEDA, Mr. Ravi Mohan Kapoor, Senior Vice Chairman PEDA, Mr. Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa, Chief Executive Officer PEDA and Sh. M.P. Singh, Director PEDA.
Mr. Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa briefed Mr. Rajan Mehra about the Renewable Energy Projects/ Activities being taken by PEDA.
Mr. Mehra Director, BOG emphasized to push forward this sector and to explore the potential in more Renewable Energy Projects in the state of Punjab. He has shown keen interest regarding the solarisation of the cities of Punjab, Biomass-CNG Projects, SPV pumping schemes etc. he vowed to work tirelessly for the development and promotion of Non-Conventional Green sources of Energy in the state of Punjab.
